Privacy policy

Statoverse publishes short data videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Telegram. This policy covers this website and the publishing tool we use to post to our own accounts.
This website
We don't use cookies, analytics or trackers here and don't collect personal data. The page loads its font from Google Fonts, and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security — each under its own policy.
Our publishing tool
We use an internal tool to upload our own videos to our own Statoverse accounts through the official APIs of YouTube (Google), TikTok and Meta (Instagram, Facebook). It is used only by the Statoverse team and only for our accounts. It stores the access tokens these platforms issue to us, kept privately and never shared, plus the ids and links of the videos we posted. It does not collect data about other users.
The tool may read public comments left on our own posts in order to reply to them. We keep the comment text, its id and the author's public name only as long as needed to reply and to avoid replying twice; we don't sell, share or use them for advertising.
YouTube API Services
Our publishing tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Through YouTube API Services the tool accesses only our own channel: it reads the channel's id and title to confirm which channel is signed in (channels.list), uploads our videos with their title, description and tags (videos.insert) and reads their processing status (videos.list). If enabled, it may also read and reply to public comments on our own videos. It stores the OAuth refresh token (privately, on our own machine, never shared) and the ids and links of the videos it uploaded; it does not store any other YouTube data and does not share YouTube data with third parties.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke the tool's access to a Google account at any time on the Google security settings page. When access is revoked, or on request to contact@statoverse.com, we delete the stored token and any YouTube data we hold within 7 days.
Deleting data
To ask us to delete any data related to you (for example a comment we stored), email contact@statoverse.com — we delete it within 30 days. You can also revoke our tool's access to an account in that platform's settings at any time.
